Purpose and information processed
Mason Studio is a private assistant operated on its owner’s Mac. Depending on enabled connections and requests, it processes messages, email, calendar information, contacts provided by the owner, files, voice notes, task history, and action receipts.
Google account information identifies the connected account. Google Calendar data—including event titles, times, locations, descriptions, attendees, and availability—is used to answer scheduling questions, check for conflicts, and create or update events when authorized. Only calendars accessible to the connected account can be used.
How information is used and shared
Selected request content and relevant tool results are sent to the configured OpenAI service through the operator’s Codex account to interpret requests and prepare responses. Relevant calendar information may be included when needed for a scheduling request. Google receives requests needed to provide Calendar functions. Enabled email, messaging, and other providers receive information necessary to carry out authorized actions.
Mason does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Google user data is used to provide the assistant’s requested functions, subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Group responses use the approved group’s own conversation history and limited scheduling availability. General private email history, owner direct messages, and private files are not supplied to group reasoning. Sensitive decisions are routed privately to the owner.
Storage and security
Operational records are retained on the owner’s Mac to support task continuity and verification. Calendar credentials are stored separately from the operational database. Local files, exports, and backups may contain business information. The operator controls device access, local storage, and backups.
These public information pages are hosted separately from the assistant. Visiting them does not provide access to the assistant’s messages, calendar credentials, or controls. Hosting providers may process ordinary request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the website.
Retention, revocation, and deletion
Local records remain until the operator removes them; Mason does not currently impose a fixed automatic deletion period. Processing services handle information according to their applicable policies and account settings.
You can revoke Google access in Google Account connections. Revocation stops future access under that authorization but does not automatically delete previously stored records or backups. To request access, correction, or deletion of information held by this installation, contact masonjxavierii@gmail.com. The operator may need to verify the request before acting.
Changes and contact
Updates to this policy will appear on this page with a revised date. Questions about Mason’s data handling can be sent to masonjxavierii@gmail.com.
